Growing up around animals since I was a young child has made a big impact on my life and where I am today.
I graduated from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY for animal behavior, ecology, and conservation in 2019. I have been lucky enough to intern at the Buffalo Zoo in Artic Edge, as well as a canine hydrotherapy facility.
In my day to day life, I was a manager at a local pet resort while I was going to school. This began to peak my interest in dog behavior and training. After graduating, I was lucky enough to transition on to be the primary dog trainer and daily operations manager at a dog training facility in Buffalo, NY.
In 2023, I moved to Indiana and started in the veterinary world, working in reception and doing some vet assistant tasks. In 2025, our family moved here to North Carolina and have continued in the veterinary world.
At home, I have two dogs and two cats – Zoey, Riggs, Vladimir & Val. Zoey is my senior husky and Riggs is an Australian Cattle dog who keeps me on my toes!
I am passionate about educating others and expanding my knowledge, especially about dogs and dog behavior. I love getting to meet all of the different personalities and working one on one with a dog. Getting to see them open up is my favorite and I would do it every day!
